In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to protect your Google Sheets, ensuring your data remains private and secure.

Let’s begin by setting up access permissions for your Google Sheets. In the top-right corner click Share button.

Enter the email address provided by BannnerNow:

Click the Share button to share the spreadsheet. Viewer permission is sufficient. The platform will now have access to your Google Sheet based on the permissions you have set.

Let’s return to BannerNow and set up a new feed. Navigate to the Data menu, open the Feeds tab, and click on New feed.

Next, from the Data Source options select Google Spreadsheet.

In the modal:

1. input the name of your feed;

2. copy the link of your google spreadsheet and insert it in the Spreadsheet ID field;

3. check the Private Spreadsheet option.

And there you have it! Now your private Google Spreadsheet is serving as a dynamic feed source and you can easily manage and update the content displayed on your ads in real-time. Happy advertising!

Google Ads or Google Display Network (GDN) is a broad collection of more than a million websites, smartphone apps, videos, and blogs, as well as other online destinations that display  Ads. This gives you an opportunity to reach more than 80% of internet users worldwide, in more than 100 countries and 30 languages.

Bannernow is a Google Certified External Vendor for serving 3rd party Ads on Google Ads. This means that HTML banners created in Bannernow are 100% compatible with Google Ads and therefore, can be published to your Google Ads campaigns. It also means that any Bannernow ads currently running within your Google Ads campaigns can be quickly modified via the Bannernow Editor, which automatically updates any changes to your Google Ads campaigns as soon as you click Publish.

Follow these steps to publish your creatives to Google Ads:

1. Set hyperlinks for all your ads directly in the BannerNow editor or dashboard.

2. Make sure your ad animation length is less than 30 seconds.

3. Set a contrast border for your ad.

4. Open the banner set within the BannerNow dashboard and click the Publish button.

5. Select any sizes that need to be published.

In the Ad network dropdown – select Google Display Network.

6. Download embed ad tags as .xlsx.

7. Open the downloaded .xlsx (Excel) file, then, fill the Campaign Name and Ad Group Name (from your Google Ads account). You can also change the Placeholder title, which refers to the title of the Display ad that will be visible in your Google Ads account after import.

8. Submit your .xlsx file with ad tags using the following form (Make sure you are logged in to your Google Ads account): https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6161966?visit_id=637509713062337933-3856143141&rd=1

  • Campaign Type: Display Campaign (select Ad tag checkbox)
  • Do you have a Google Account Manager (premium support): Yes or No
  • Ad status: Live or Paused (what should be the status of your ads after approval)
  • Submit an attachement: Select the .XLSX file that was downloaded from BannerNow (step 6)
  • Have you attached any necessary tags or other required documents? – Yes

Please note that it can take some time before your ads will be manually approved by Google Ads approval team.

1. First, you will need to connect your Campaign Manager 360 account with BannerNow.

3.  Click on Connect Account ( Campaign Manager 360).

4.  Click on Allow to grant publishing access to your Google Campaign Manager 360 account.

5. To complete the integration select your Campaign Manager 360 profile from the dropdown menu.

6. At this point, your Campaign Manager 360 profile is connected with your BannerNow Account.

7. Now you can publish banners directly into Campaign Manager 360.

Click Publish button (bannerset or schedule or decision tree).

9. Select Ad network – Campaign Manager 360

10. Select advertiser and campaign where your ads will be published.

Any time you make updates to the banner’s design it will automatically be updated in Google Campaign Manager 360 (no need for any manual action).

Here’s how you can use it:

1. Open up Google Sheets

Tip: If your spreadsheet is stored as XLSX – convert it to Google Sheets first !

2. Make sure the first row contains a title for each column.

3. Next click the Share button in the top right menu.

4. Click “Change to anyone with the link“.

5. Next choose Anyone with the link option and press “Done”.

6. Next copy the document link.

7. Go back to BannerNow, Library -> Feeds -> New Feed.

8. Choose Google Spreadsheet.

9. Paste your google spreadsheet link, choose the page number and the desired update interval and click proceed.

Now you can select the data from your spreadsheet that you want to use in your banners.

The following steps describe how to Embed/Publish a Banner into any Ad Network:

1. Sign in to your BannerNow Account.

Create a New Banner or find an existing one in the Dashboard.

In order to access the Embed menu click on the “Publish” button.

2. Once the Embed Code modal shows up you will visualize all selected banner sizes and languages.

The next step is a list of the 50+ Ad Networks to choose from.

4. Turn on the Responsive option if responsiveness is needed.

5. Select and copy (Ctr+C) the Embed Code into the clipboard. This code is a snippet which will make your banner work within the selected Ad Network.
